Kunpeng Zhang

Kunpeng Zhang is currently a Software Development Intern at Demonware, focusing on building backend infrastructure for online services related to Call of Duty since May 2025. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer Intern role at General Fusion, where Kunpeng upgraded and developed core data pipelines to support an experimental plasma compression model from January to April 2025, and a Performance Research Intern position at D-Wave, contributing to the codebase for replicating quantum supremacy results between September and December 2024. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University, Kunpeng conducted research on TB transmission through statistical analysis from May to August 2024. Kunpeng Zhang is pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science and Statistics at Simon Fraser University, expected to graduate in May 2027, following a high school diploma from Dominican High School obtained in May 2021.
