Michael Tom-Wing has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Michael started their career in 2011 as a Verification Engineer Intern at Ericsson, where they gained experience in smoke testing, scripting, and internal tool development. During their internship, Michael developed an automated test result tracking tool that greatly improved their team's efficiency.

In 2012, Michael joined Demonware as a Software Developer Intern. Michael worked on developing automated load testing tools for long-term use and load tested services for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launch.

Continuing their journey at Demonware, Michael held various roles from 2015 to the present. Michael started as a Software Engineer for Call of Duty Online and later transitioned to roles such as Software Engineer for Developer Experience Tooling and Software Engineer for Kubernetes Automation. In 2020, they became a Technical Lead for Monitoring and Infrastructure Tooling, and in 2022, they took on the role of Technical Lead for Performance Engineering.

Throughout their work experience, Michael has demonstrated their skills in software development, automation, and performance engineering.

Michael Tom-Wing pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Eric Hamber Secondary from 2004 to 2009 to complete their high school education.
