Elida Rivera

As a New York native, Elida received her BA from Hunter College and holds a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) certificate. Elida joined the Finance department in 2014 as Accountant. She currently works on financial recordkeeping and payroll.

Prior to joining Demos, Elida spent a brief period interning in a small CPA firm assisting with individual and corporate taxes. However, the last 3 years have been working with different non-profits in a finance capacity. The nonprofits she has worked with have a range of missions including educational reform in urban communities, improved transportation systems, the community arts, and community development in the South Bronx with an emphasis on sustainable growth.
