Gabe Markowitz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gabe started their career in 1997 as a PC Hardware Field Technician at IBM. Gabe then moved to MICROS Systems Inc, where they worked as a Field Service Technician from 1999 to 2001. Gabe then joined Bluecurrent, Inc as a Deployment Team Lead from 2001 to 2003.

In 2003, Gabe began working at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Gabe started as a Desktop Support Technician II and progressed to Desktop Support Technician III. Gabe then transitioned to the role of Solutions Architect I, where they provided technology leadership and maintained technology roadmaps.

Gabe's next significant career move was in 2012 when they joined Denali Advanced Integration. Gabe started as a Senior Solutions Engineer and gradually moved up to Director-level positions. Gabe worked as a Senior Solutions Engineer - Microsoft Infrastructure from 2012 to 2013, designing and implementing Microsoft System Center solutions. Gabe then served as a Solutions Architect - Microsoft Infrastructure from 2013 to 2015, where they closely worked with customers on system architecture and configuration. From 2015 to 2020, Gabe held the position of Principal Solutions Architect - Microsoft Infrastructure, where they led the Microsoft Solutions Group and assisted in the creation of Statements of Work. Gabe then became the Director of Cloud Solutions and Services from 2020 to 2021 and subsequently the Senior Director of Information Technology from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Gabe holds the position of Head of Global IT at Denali Advanced Integration.

Gabe Markowitz attended Auburn Senior High from 1994 to 1997. Gabe did not obtain a degree or study any specific field during this time. Additionally, they have earned various certifications including MCA: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in October 2019, Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration Basics 10.13 from Apple in 2019, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure from Microsoft in September 2016, MCSE: Private Cloud from Microsoft in 2016, MCSA: Windows 8 from Microsoft in 2013, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in 2013, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2012, MCTS: Administering and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager from Microsoft in 2012, and CompTIA A+ Certified Professional from CompTIA.
