Rob Tracy

Rob Tracy currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary at Denbury Inc. since November 2023. Tracy has been with ExxonMobil since August 2008 in the role of Senior Counsel. Previous experience includes serving as General Counsel at Marine Well Containment Company from February 2011 to June 2013 and as a Senior Associate at Legge Farrow Kimmit McGrath & Brown LLP from July 2003 to August 2008. Tracy also held the position of Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve from June 1993 to October 2004 and worked as an Associate at Houck Hamilton & Anderson between July 1998 and July 2003. Early career experience includes serving as a Licensed Mate at Tidewater Marine from July 1993 to August 1996. Tracy earned a Juris Doctor in Admiralty & Maritime Law from Tulane University Law School from 1995 to 1998 and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1990 to 1993.
