Libby Benet, JD, is the Global Chief Underwriting Officer at AXA XL, a division of AXA, where they focus on specialty lines including professional, cyber, and EPL insurance. A licensed attorney in Maryland, they have held various leadership roles in the insurance industry, including President and CEO of Cyber Secure Work Inc. and SVP Specialty Lines Underwriting Manager at Gen Re. With a BA in Political Science from Towson University and a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law, they are recognized as a national leader and expert in insurance, frequently speaking on emerging industry issues. Currently, they serve on the boards of Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company and DeNexus, and hold a position as Supervisory Board Member at S-RM.
