Jon Sayers has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jon started their career as an Advanced Design Engineer at Concentric Pumps in 1997. Jon then joined Honywell Transportation Systems in 2001 as an Application Engineering & Development Manager, where they successfully invented and released multiple patented bypass EGR coolers. In 2005, they moved to Sealine International Ltd as an Engineering, Test & Compliance Manager. During their tenure, they led a team of engineers and received the 'Best in Class' award at SIBS for motor yacht design. In 2011, they became the Chief Engineer at Dennis Eagle UK, responsible for engineering, design, and compliance of refuse collection vehicles. Jon later served as the Head of Engineering and is currently the Engineering Director, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and software engineering for electric, diesel, and CNG vehicles, as well as global compliance change management and testing.

Jon Sayers obtained a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University London from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they pursued Physics A Level at Lewes Tertiary College from 1990 to 1993.
