Keith Day has extensive work experience in various roles related to purchasing and management. Keith started their career in 1986 at Rover Group, where they worked as a Production Purchasing specialist. During their time at Rover Group, they gained experience in purchasing a range of production components and also became a TQI Facilitator, leading training sessions for the Purchasing department.
In 1993, Keith joined Rover Group as a Facilities Purchasing Manager, a role they held until 1998. Keith then moved on to Senior Engineering Plc, where they worked as a Purchasing Director for a year and a half.
In 1999, Keith joined MacLellan Group Plc as a Purchasing Director, responsible for coordinating purchasing activities across various locations. During their time at MacLellan Group, they focused on centralizing the Purchasing function and integrating acquired companies into the structure.
In 2002, Keith joined Dennis Eagle UK as the Head of Procurement. Keith held various roles within the company, including Purchasing and Key Projects Director and Technical Director, before becoming the Managing Director, a position they currently hold. Dennis Eagle is a manufacturing company with a turnover of £130 million, specializing in the production of around 1000 specialist trucks per year.
Keith Day attended Birmingham City University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a BA(hons) degree in Business Studies. Prior to that, they attended Shenley Court School but no specific degree or field of study was provided. Additionally, Keith attended Warwick University for BTEC Technology Management, but no specific start or end year was provided.
