Max Aerts

CEO at DENS

Max Aerts has a diverse work experience, with roles ranging from CEO to Founder and Managing Director. In 2018, they worked as the CEO of DENS | Dutch Energy Solutions, where they led the development of a power generator that provides clean energy on demand using hydrozine fuel. Max also founded and served as COO of Findur from 2014 to 2019. In 2015, Max co-founded Team FAST and served as the Managing Director, working on the development of formic acid technology for various applications. Prior to these roles, they founded Max Aerts Innovations in 2013, designing and developing smart home solutions and applications. Max was also involved in educational projects at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, including researching driving on formic acid and designing the retail of the future. Max has a strong background in design, having worked on projects such as creating a safe user-friendly station and designing motivating gadgets for sports. Throughout their work experience, Max has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a focus on sustainability.

Max Aerts attended Carolus High School from 2004 to 2009, where they completed their HAVO degree with a focus on N&T, N&G, informatica, and M&O. Max then continued their education at Carolus from 2009 to 2011, completing their VWO degree with the same subject focus. Following this, Max attended KU Leuven from 2011 to 2012, studying Biomedical Sciences. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, Max attended Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, where they obtained a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Industrial Design Engineering.
