Andy Hobbs

Andy Hobbs has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Andy is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Dense Air since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Core and Cloud at Dense Air from December 2017 to March 2021. Before joining Dense Air, Andy was the Head of Systems & Solutions at Quortus from September 2016 to November 2017. Andy also held the position of VP Products & Solutions at Airspan Networks from October 2013 to September 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the European Head of Product Management at Samsung Networks Europe from July 2011 to September 2013. Andy has also had a long career at Airspan Networks, where they held various roles such as Director of Product Management, Director of Technical Sales, Senior Manager of Technical Sales Support, Project Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, and Systems Verification Engineer from 1998 to 2011. Before joining Airspan Networks, Andy worked at DSC Communications as a Systems Verification Engineer and Installation and Commissioning Engineer from 1996 to 1998.

From 1993 to 1996, Andy Hobbs attended UMIST (University of Manchester) where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronic Engineering.
