Simon Russell

Simon Russell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Simon began their career at Logica as a Software Development Team Lead, where they worked on software architecture and real-time applications for clients in the Aviation and Automotive industries. Simon then joined Leaseplan UK as a Senior Data Warehouse Architect, leading the development of data solutions for global initiatives such as securitization and financial reporting. Following that, Simon joined the UK Ministry of Defence, holding various roles including Head of Advanced Analytics and Portfolio Director, where they focused on developing data strategies and leading digital transformation programs. Simon then moved to EY as the Head of Data Management and Strategy, where they played a crucial role in managing data and driving strategic initiatives. Currently, they are working at Dense Air as the Head of Data and Analytics, utilizing their expertise in data analysis and strategy implementation. Overall, Simon has a strong background in data management, analytics, and strategy across different sectors.

Simon Russell completed their Bachelor of Science (Bsc Hons) in Biology at Queen Mary University of London from 1994 to 1997. Simon later pursued a Certificate in Management in Business Administration and Management at Nottingham Trent University, completing it from 2005 to 2006. Finally, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, technology & strategy from The Open University, studying from 2008 to 2011.
