Andrea Johnson

Andrea Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and corporate law. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Governors at Elmwood School since June 2022, Johnson is dedicated to advancing the mission of one of North America's leading all-girls schools. As a Member of the Ottawa Executive for the Institute of Corporate Directors since 2019, Johnson actively contributes to organizing events for the local director community. With a longstanding tenure at Dentons since June 1997, Johnson holds the position of Partner in the Corporate group and serves on both the Canada Board of Directors and the Global Board. Additionally, Johnson served as a Director for Hydro Ottawa from September 2015 to September 2021, participating in the Governance and Human Resources Committee as well as the Investment Review Committee. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Laws in Business Law from Dalhousie University (1994-1997).
