David McGuinness

David McGuinness is a partner at Dentons since May 2022, with previous experience as a senior associate in the corporate department at Allen & Overy from August 2016 to May 2022, where responsibilities included focusing on private and public M&A, private equity, venture capital transactions, and corporate advisory work. Prior to that, David was a corporate solicitor at William Fry from September 2012 to August 2016, providing legal guidance on mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and governance. David's legal career began at William Fry, where training included corporate, employment, and commercial real estate sectors, after an internship in the Banking and Financial Services Department. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from University College Dublin and a specialization in EU Competition Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
