Emma Hand

Emma Hand is a distinguished legal professional and co-owner of MacMillan Whisky Room/MacMillan Spirit House with a robust background in energy law. As a partner and US Sector Co-Lead for Energy at Dentons since January 2011, Emma contributes significantly to the firm's award-winning Energy practice, focusing on regulatory and litigation matters for various public power entities and large energy customers, including notable clients like the City of New Orleans. Emma's previous roles include Senior Managing Associate and Associate positions at SNR Denton and Sullivan & Worcester LLP, specializing in federal and state regulations concerning electricity and renewable energy. Emma holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA with High Distinction in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
