John Holahan is a partner in Dentons' Capital Markets practice, co-leading the firm's Capital Markets regulatory team and serving on Dentons' US Board of Directors since August 2013. Prior to this role, John was a partner at DLA Piper, focusing on Financial Services Regulation from May 2011 to July 2013, and held the position of Senior Managing Associate at SNR Denton US LLP in the same field from January 2009 to May 2011. John began a career in Financial Services Regulation as an associate at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP from May 2004 to December 2008. John holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a BS in Economics with a focus on Finance from The Wharton School.
