Laura Shearman is a Global AML and Sanctions Manager at Dentons, with extensive experience in risk and compliance within the legal services industry across the UK and Asia-Pacific. Laura has held several key positions, including Senior Risk Analyst and Global Business Acceptance Manager at Dentons, and Senior Associate at Chapman Thackeray Law. Laura began their career as a Paralegal at Clinch Long Letherbarrow and later worked as a Commercial Litigation Solicitor at the same firm. Laura holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Sydney and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the NSW College of Law, among other qualifications.
