Margo Smith

Margo Smith is a Senior Managing Associate at Dentons in the Health Care & Cannabis Group, where they advise healthcare providers and cannabis industry clients on regulatory compliance. Previously, Margo held the position of Research Assistant and Research Associate II at The Urban Institute from 2012 to 2015, contributing to significant healthcare policy reports and federal grant proposals. Margo also gained experience as a Law Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. They earned their law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, graduating in 2018.
