Muhammad Patel

Muhammad Patel is a prominent Partner at Dentons, where since January 2019, Muhammad has excelled in the Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) team, having been recognized as a Rising Star for trade mark expertise in South Africa by Managing Intellectual Property IP STARS. Prior to this, Muhammad served at Moore Attorneys from January 2015 to December 2018, ultimately as Section Head of Africa IP Litigation within the Litigation Department. Responsibilities included managing a team of Candidate Attorneys and conducting extensive litigation and contract work related to intellectual property. Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, obtained in 2014, and has actively contributed to various areas of law throughout the career, including trade mark prosecution, litigation, and compliance within the IP sector.
