Nick Allard

Nick Allard serves as the Founding Dean and Professor of Law at Jacksonville University College of Law since July 2022. In addition, Allard has been Senior Counsel at Dentons since October 2015, specializing in public policy and regulation across various sectors including telecommunications and environmental law. Prior experience includes a tenure at Brooklyn Law School from July 2012 to August 2022 as Professor of Law, Dean, and Past President, where courses taught included “Privacy Law in a Digital Age.” Prior roles also include Partner at Squire Patton Boggs LLP and Latham & Watkins, where leadership responsibilities included chairing significant practice groups. Educational credentials encompass a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, a Master's Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Affairs from Princeton University.
