Nicolas Theys

Nicolas Theys currently serves as a Partner in charge of the Restructuring Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice at Dentons, a position held since September 2014. Prior to this role, Nicolas held the title of Partner at SJ Berwin from March 2008 to September 2014, overseeing the Restructuring practice in the Paris office. Nicolas also served as Of Counsel in the Business, Finance & Restructuring practice at Weil Gotshal and Manges between December 2005 and February 2008, and worked as a Senior Associate in the restructuring department at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from June 1997 to November 2005. Earlier in the career, Nicolas was an Associate at Frederic Roche from 1994 to 1997. Nicolas holds a Masters in Civil Law - Contract Law from Université Paris Cité, with studies completed from 1987 to 2001. Additionally, educational pursuits included attendance at Stanislas.
