Ahmed Butt is a partner and solicitor specializing in financial regulatory compliance, licensing, and investigations within the FinTech and banking sectors. They have led notable financial services practices across various Middle Eastern markets, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, and Lebanon. Previously, Ahmed served as Regional Head of Financial Services at EY Law and held leadership positions at Simmons & Simmons and Squire Patton Boggs. Ahmed began their career at Dentons, where they focused on banking and Islamic finance. Currently, they are pursuing an LLB (Honours) at the University of Leicester.
