Thomas Mooney is currently serving as the Vice President Finance for the Manitoba Law Students' Association from April 2023 to April 2024. Previously, Thomas has a diverse background including serving as an Infantry Soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces from March 2016 to August 2023 and working as a Student Ranger at Ontario Parks from June 2020 to May 2022. Thomas gained legal experience as a Summer Student and Articled Student at Dentons in 2022 and is currently a Student at Law at the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic. Additionally, Thomas serves as a Port Inspection Diver in the Royal Canadian Navy since August 2023. Thomas holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Manitoba, anticipated in 2024, and an Honours degree in Political Science and Government from Trent University, obtained in 2021.
