Venetia Jackson

Venetia Jackson is currently Counsel at Dentons, specializing in retail financial regulation with particular expertise in consumer finance and insurance regulation. Drawing on significant past experience at the FCA and HM Treasury, they advise clients on various regulatory matters, including compliance with the Consumer Duty and consumer credit issues. Venetia has extensive experience in legislative drafting and public law, having worked on notable projects such as the implementation of the Mortgage Credit Directive and significant product governance issues. They also have a litigation background, having appeared in cases before the European Court of Justice. Venetia earned a BA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law.
