Ian May

Ian May is a global indirect tax lead at Dentsu International, bringing over 15 years of experience in indirect tax from roles at the UK tax authority, major advisory firms, and corporate environments. They have specialized in large corporates, particularly in sectors such as telecommunications and oil & gas. Ian has also played a key role in numerous ERP and tax engine implementations, contributing to significant control improvements. Prior to their current position, they worked at Huawei Technologies, Sharp Electronics Europe, KPMG UK LLP, and Grant Thornton UK LLP, providing expert advice and leading important projects across multiple countries. Ian holds a degree in Law with a focus on Tax Law from the University of Westminster.
