Sameer Poonja

Sameer Poonja is a seasoned growth leader and strategic advisor, currently serving as the Managing Director and Chief Experience Officer at dentsu, focusing on the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Prior roles include Senior Vice President at Gulf International Bank, where they spearheaded digital payments and product innovation initiatives, and Partner at Roland Berger. Sameer co-founded Spades, which was acquired by qlub, and has held various leadership positions at prominent organizations like Visa, Emirates, and Oracle. Sameer holds an MBA in Information Technology from RMIT University and has completed a certification in Developing Data Products at Johns Hopkins University.
