Deploy™
Deploy aims to help rural communities and fire mitigation programmes to easier access water storage infrastructure, we do it better than conventional concrete solutions by providing an affordable and more sustainable option, as well as a product designed for easy transportation and maintenance. Deploy is the first-ever air-deployed, ready-to-use water tank, manufactured with a concrete-filled fabric. There is a water crisis and it’s more relevant than ever since without access to safely managed drinking water; millions of people living in vulnerable areas are at risk of infectious diseases such as cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and now COVID-19. By interacting with 175 communities in Ecuador, we found that water storage is an essential component of any water supply system, but also, it is the most expensive and labour-intensive. Additionally, we have been witnessing massive and terrible wildfires taking place all over the world, which has pushed a lot of countries to take action. We also want to support these initiatives by providing water tanks to help reduce the detrimental impacts of fires. Each Deploy tank has a capacity of 40,000 litres in case of fires. On the other hand, it has been designed to supply communities of up to 2,000 people. Its transportability enables shipping the product anywhere on the world, something never seen for concrete technologies before. The environmental impact reduction by replacing conventional concrete tanks could be more than 70% of CO2 in materials and more than 90% of CO2 in transportation aspects. These are not simple improvements, these are game-changer properties that can positively impact the concrete infrastructure industry. Our patent-pending technology is breaking the pre-established perception of concrete infrastructures being expensive, inflexible, and heavy. “Deploy disrupting the industry of water storage.”
