Tracy Ragan

CEO & Co-Founder at DeployHub

Tracy Ragan has a long history of working in the tech industry. Tracy began their career in 1995 as COO and Co-Founder of OpenMake Software, where they developed a dynamic solution for streamlining, accelerating, and standardizing the software compile and link process. In 2005, they were invited to join the Eclipse Foundation as a founding member, where they served on the Eclipse Public Licensing committee and was part of the team that released the first version of Eclipse with broad plug-in support. In 2018, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of DeployHub, a microservice management platform. In 2019, they became the Community Director of Ortelius Open Source, where they organized hackathons, virtual summits, and community-building activities to further the Ortelius Governance Catalog Project. Tracy also joined The Linux Foundation as a Board Member of the CD Foundation and OpenSSF. In 2021, they became a DevOps Institute Ambassador, and in 2022 they became a Member of Chief and a TechStrong Women Host.

Tracy Ragan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona between 1979 and 1982. Tracy also attended New York University from 1998 to 1999 to study Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration. Tracy has also obtained several certifications from The Linux Foundation, including Speaker badges for Open Source Summit North America in 2020 and 2022, a GitOps Summit 2021 Speaker badge, cdCon 2021 Speaker and Program Committee badges, and a cdCon 2020 Speaker badge.
