Ola Sendecka

Ola Sendecka is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Engineering at Depop since November 2020, Ola has held pivotal roles in various organizations, including Engineering Manager and Senior Backend Engineer at Monzo Bank. Prior experience includes co-founding Django Girls, working as a Staff Software Engineer at BuzzFeed, and developing Django-based solutions at xDrone and Legalsense. Ola’s technical expertise encompasses Django, Python, Code Igniter, and PHP, with a solid foundation in web development established through a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Jagiellonian University and a Bachelor's degree in Web Development with first-class honors from the University of the West of Scotland.
