DER Security was founded in 2022 as a spin-off of the SunSpec Alliance, a trade alliance of solar and storage distributed energy industry participants. With leadership originating from the SunSpec Alliance, Sandia National Labs, and the Cybersecurity industry, the DERSec team is delivering the world's first cybersecurity protection, detection, and response software products for interoperable DER devices and systems.
