Joe Wilner is an engineering leader in climate tech, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Derapi since 2024. They have previous experience as a Principal Engineer and Staff Engineer at The New York Times in 2022. Prior to that, Joe held positions as a Senior Backend Engineer and Lead Engineer at NS1 from 2019 to 2020, as well as a Software Engineer and Lead Infrastructure Engineer at EnergyHub from 2014 to 2016. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from St. John's College in 2010 and participated in Hacker School in 2013.
