Lin Chen possesses extensive experience in business development and operations within the cryptocurrency and fintech sectors. Currently serving as Business Development Asia at Deribit since June 2019, Lin is responsible for onboarding institutional traders and developing retail channels across Asia, while also providing local business insights and managing customer relationships. Prior to this role, Lin held the position of COO at MAGPIE FINANCE LIMITED from May 2014 to May 2019, where key contributions included options market making and Bitcoin hedging, as well as facilitating microloans to young Chinese graduates and offering various financial technologies. Lin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, earned from 2004 to 2007.
