Basil Tinah

Basil Tinah's work experience includes a current position as the WinOps Operations Team Lead at Deriv, where they have been since October 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Deriv from May 2022 to October 2023. Basil also has extensive experience at Palestinian POLICE, where they held multiple roles including Senior System Administrator, AFIS Administrator, and Senior DevOps Engineer from July 2013 to May 2022. Additionally, they worked as an Information Security Specialist at Palestinian POLICE from July 2013 to June 2014.

Basil Tinah earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Al-Quds University in the period 2009-2013. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Puppet Certified Professional from e-Estonia in 2019, Advance Linux Administration from Expert Institute in 2017, and various certifications from GlaxyTech, Microsoft, IDEMIA, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in 2014.
