David Usher

David Usher is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and system engineering. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Deriv since November 2022, David has previously held senior roles at Forcepoint, including Director of Engineering and Senior Software Development Manager, between July 2013 and November 2022. Prior experience also includes positions at Websense as Principal Software Engineer, Coreware as Senior Systems Engineer, and roles at Opta Sports Data Ltd, Sports.com, Digital Twilight, and University College London. David holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from University College London, earned between 1996 and 1999.
