Leon Garber

Leon is a successful entrepreneur and retired naval officer & aviator who grew up in a family of small business owners. He comes to Dermacare after starting and running two prior businesses and 28 years flying navy special operations helicopters, including multiple combat tours in Iraq. He is also a sought after Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor and consultant, assisting owners in the sale of their medical spas, as well as teaching the medical aesthetics business to new owners.

Leon’s focus at Dermacare is to support their very talented and dedicated team of providers, enabling them to give the best possible care to their clients. He also is responsible for their marketing, finance and human resource functions.

A dedicated member of the community, Leon has been a lifelong scouter and served in roles from den leader to scoutmaster. He volunteers for NEST and supports charities such as CHKD, the Chesapeake Library’s early reading program, and most recently during the COVID-19 pandemic, their local foodbanks.

Leon is a graduate of SUNY Maritime College with a B.S. in Marine Transportation. He is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association, the American MedSpa Association, and the International Business Brokers Association.
