Max Dawson

Max Dawson has over 20 years of experience in finance and operations. From 1998-2005, they worked as an Associate Scientist in Protein Biochemistry at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. From 2003-2007, they worked as an Analyst in Finance and Operations at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. From 2007-2013, they held roles in Market Planning & Access and Business Development at Dyax. From 2013-2017, they were the Vice President of Business Development at Adagene. From 2017-2018, they were the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Consultant in Finance and Operations at DermBiont, Inc. Max then moved to Specifica in 2018, where they currently serve as an Advisor.

Max Dawson attended Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2000 to 2003, where they earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Bates College and obtained a BA with Honors, with a double major in Biology and Philosophy & Religious Studies.
