Sarah Orr

Sarah Orr has a diverse work experience in the field of laboratory operations. Sarah is currently serving as the Vice President of Laboratory Operations at DermTech since February 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Laboratory Operations at the same company from April 2022 to February 2024.

Before joining DermTech, Sarah worked at Roswell Biotechnologies as the Head of Laboratory Operations from March 2021 to February 2022.

Sarah also has experience working at Epic Sciences, where they served as the Director of Laboratory Operations from October 2018 to March 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Manager at the same company from October 2016 to October 2018.

In addition, Sarah worked at UC San Diego Health as a Cytogenetic Technologist Supervisor from June 2016 to October 2016.

Prior to that, they worked at Epic Sciences as the Supervisor of CTC Analysis from June 2014 to June 2016.

Sarah started their career at Genoptix, a Novartis Company, as a CLS in Cytogenetics from January 2010 to June 2014.

Sarah Orr earned a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University in 2005. Sarah then pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from the same university, completing it in 2008. In 2010, they obtained a certification as CLS(CG) from ASCP.
