Bob Sharp

Bob comes to DeSales after over 30 years of working in the design, construction, management and operations of broadcast and media facilities, with experience in news, sports, feature entertainment and post-production. He has handled the many transitions the media industry has undergone—from analog to digital, from broadcast to streaming, and from SD to HD to UHD—for companies ranging from boutique edit facilities in New York City to global media companies (ESPN, HBO, Showtime, MTV/Viacom, NBC/Comcast, Cablevision). Bob brings his experience in standards development and application to his role at DeSales, covering Engineering, Technical Support, and Master Control Operations. After several years as a parishioner at Saint Francis DeSales on Long Island, he now is seeking 'the right' parish near his new home on Staten Island.
