Cristobal Castilla has over 18 years of experience in product design and digital interaction. In 2022, they began working as a Product Designer for Descript. From 2019 to 2016, they worked as a Product Designer for Oculus VR and Meta, respectively. During this time, they designed the Oculus Browser and led the UI Motion Design System for the Facebook app. From 2014 to 2010, they worked at Wire Swiss GmbH as an Interaction Designer and UI Motion Design Lead, and at Universidad del Norte as a Lead Teacher in Virtualizarte Workshops. From 2014 to 2012, they worked as a Teacher in Master programs at IDEP BARCELONA Escuela Superior de Imagen y Diseño (UAO), IED Istituto Europeo di Design, and IAAC, Institute for Advance Architecture of Catalonia. From 2002 to 2014, they were a Co-founder and Interaction Director at Aer - visual studio, where they designed and implemented apps for various clients.

Cristobal Castilla began their educational journey in 1986 at Nuestra Señora del Pilar. Cristobal then attended CEU Cardenal Herrera University from 1998 to 2000, earning an Engineer's degree in Industrial Design. After that, they completed a Graphic and Industrial Design Stage at EINA Escuela de Diseño y Arte in 2001. Finally, they earned a Master's degree in Interface Design at Elisava Escuela Superior de Diseño in 2002.
