Ryan Gilbert

Ryan Gilbert has over 13 years of work experience in the software engineering and quality assurance fields. Ryan began their career in 2007 as a Software Test Engineer at Avid Technology. Ryan then progressed to a QA Lead, Senior Software Test Engineer and finally a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at the company. In 2014, they joined Grand Rounds, Inc. as a Software Engineer and later progressed to a QA Manager and Lead QA Engineer. In 2019, they moved to Riffyn as a Sr. DevOps Engineer, and in 2020 they joined Descript as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. At Descript, they are responsible for building simple and powerful collaborative tools for new media creators.

Ryan Gilbert attended The Evergreen State College from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Media Studies.
