Desert Vineyard Church is a prominent, multi-generational church located in Lancaster, California (Antelope Valley), affiliated with the Vineyard USA movement. Founded in 1977, the church has built its identity around a culture of radical hospitality and authentic faith, operating under the core guiding philosophy of "learning what it means to follow Jesus without pretending."

Led by Lead Pastor Nathan McWherter, the church emphasizes a casual, barrier-free environment explicitly designed to welcome skeptics, seekers, and those who feel out of place in traditional church settings. A hallmark of their campus culture is Virtue Coffee, a specialized coffee roasting and service ministry run directly out of the church.  Beyond its weekend services, Desert Vineyard acts as a vital community resource hub in the Antelope Valley through its outreach arm, the AV Hope Center. This ecosystem provides essential, no-barrier relief services to vulnerable local populations, including crisis resources, hot showers, a clothing boutique, and The Free Market—a flagship program offering grocery distribution without residency or income restrictions.
