Daniel Murphy

Daniel Murphy is a seasoned fintech lawyer with extensive experience as chief in-house counsel for both well-established and growth-stage financial services companies. They served as Executive Director of Legal at Dell Financial Services from 2011 to 2018, where they advised on global lending activities and played a pivotal role in significant corporate acquisitions. Murphy also held positions such as General Counsel at Mercury Financial and Head of Legal at Deserve, where they focus on credit products for consumers. They hold a JD from The Catholic University of America and a BA in American Studies and French from the University of Notre Dame. Currently, they work as a Business Development Advisor and continue to lead legal efforts at Deserve.
