Thuy Phi is actively engaged in multiple roles, including Green Fellow at The Green Institute and Education Program Facilitator at Techedify, both starting in August 2024. Thuy also serves as a Summer Research Intern at Think Neuro, Inc. and a Biomimicry Summer Intern at 1.618, both roles commencing in May 2024. Additionally, Thuy is a Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring and has contributed to the Rice Design-A-Thon by designing a mental health app. Thuy participates in competitive projects such as The Algae Prize and the American-Made Sunny Awards for Equitable Community Solar through HeroX, focusing on community benefits. As a Design Interactive Fellow at Design Interactive, Thuy created the Aggie Rewards App and is involved in the Keller Pathway Fellowship at UC Davis Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and works as a Jewelry Designer for Eco Papyrus Jewelry. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computational Cognitive Science from the University of California, Davis, and two associate degrees in Graphic Design and Biology from Foothill College and De Anza College, respectively.
