Design Museum Prague is a contemporary museum exploring the role of design in everyday life — through exhibitions, objects, and public programmes that connect historical context with current practice.
Located in a former soap factory in the heart of Prague, the museum occupies one of the city's most architecturally striking spaces. The original chimney remains a landmark on the skyline — a reminder that the building has always been a place where things are made and transformed.
Our exhibitions bring together design history and contemporary makers, asking how the objects around us shape the way we live, work, and think. Alongside our permanent collection and rotating shows, we run a curated design shop and host private events, corporate gatherings, and creative collaborations.
We work with brands, agencies, and institutions looking for a venue that offers more than a room — a setting with character, context, and a story already built in.
