Bob Taylor

Bob Taylor is a Principal Engineer at Design Research Engineering, a role they have held since 1996. Previously, Bob spent 15 years at Failure Analysis Associates/Exponent, where they advanced from Engineer to Principal Engineer, focusing on failure and design analysis as well as accident reconstruction in maritime contexts. Prior to that, Bob worked as a Naval Architect at the Naval Ship Engineering Center from 1972 to 1980. Bob earned a BSE in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
