We are an independent risk management and security leadership consultancy at the forefront of design for the built environment. We minimise risk and safeguard assets, adding value and achieving cost savings through clear and effective security intent, innovative physical controls, technical measures and procedural responses applied in relation to the identified risks.

We specialise in protecting crowded spaces such as sports venues and universities, appreciating the operational and business needs of the development. Liaising with architectural and engineering teams we apply design solutions for changing threats, using a risk-based approach, ensuring crime prevention and physical asset protection are considered at the earliest stages to maximise effectiveness in specification, procurement and early identification of design issues.

Understanding behaviour through application of our criminological expertise and quantitative empirical crime data assessment tools supports our implementation of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design. This shows how the development is likely to interact with its surrounding areas, assesses what crimes are most likely during its operational life and informs the strategy for Crime Prevention Concepts. The solutions employed then seek to reduce the occurrence of and impacts of Crime and Anti-Social behaviour through creating a welcoming environment for compliant, target market segments whilst dissuading non-compliant segments. This interfaces with the business plan of the development, reinforcing brand development by promoting a safe and welcoming environment, increasing its appeal to a wider market.

Our extensive experience, from concept to enhancing existing infrastructure, spans a range of sectors including:

•Urban mixed-use developments
•International Sports Venues
•Government Buildings
•Universities & Schools
•Oil, Gas & Renewables Infrastructure
•Museums & Art Galleries
•Finance & Data Centres
•Transport
