Designer for Climate is a climate-focused design collective seeking to bridge the gaps in climate communications.

By bringing together a network of academics, scientists, engineers, writers and, of course, designers, we seeks to break down the complex topic of climate change and push the topic in an accessible way. By that we mean, we work with NGOs, government agencies and climate-focused companies and start-ups on their design and communication challenges. We seek to help you present your products, services or information in the most intelligible and useful way.

We understand that communicating the climate crisis itself, as well as the infinite causes and solutions, is not easy. With numerous clients approaching us with big data sets and an idea but a bad track record of impact or engagement, we learned to think outside of the square. Sometimes people just don't get it! And that's actually okay, because this stuff isn't easy. That's what we're here for!

Notably, we're in close collaboration with the Climate Action Tracker, currently the most prominent research group providing country emissions assessments and pledges.

New Climate, Ember and Climate Analytics also make up our portfolio of reputable clients forcing policy change and enacting climate action, with our work stretching right across the globe from Australia to the US to Europe.
