Jake Athey

Jake Athey has a diverse work experience in marketing and sales roles. Jake started their career as a Marketing Intern at Widen, an Acquia company, in 2004. From there, they progressed to roles such as Marketing Coordinator, Online Marketing Manager, and Marketing and Sales Manager at Widen Enterprises. In 2014, they became the Director of Marketing and later the VP of Marketing at Widen Enterprises. In 2019, they joined Acquia as the VP Marketing and Customer Experience, where they led marketing, sales, partner development, and customer success efforts. Jake continued to hold leadership positions at Acquia, including VP Product Marketing and VP Go-To-Market and Sales, DAM and PIM.

Jake Athey earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Wisconsin School of Business between 2020 and 2022. Previously, they obtained a Professional Development Certificate in Applied Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008-2009. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor's degree (BS) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, which they earned between 2001 and 2005. In addition to their formal education, Jake Athey also holds a certification, PMC Level II, from Pragmatic Institute, obtained in 2023.
