Simon Elliott

Simon Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Simon started their career as an R&D technician at Motorola in 1997. Simon then worked as a freelance Drupal website builder at Function Web Design from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, they co-founded Bantalabs, where they served as the Drupal project lead/trainer until 2014.

In 2003, they became the Director of SARL Maison d'Etre, a position they held until 2009. In 2007, Simon joined the Drupal Project as a community member/evangelist.

In 2014, they became a Professor of Drupal at ESCEN - Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d'Economie Numérique, where they were responsible for defining the architecture and delivery of the course.

Since 2014, they have been associated with Acquia, serving in various roles such as Technical Account Manager, Senior Technical Account Manager, Manager of Technical Account Management EMEA, and Senior Manager of Technical Account Management EMES. Simon then moved on to become the Director of Technical Account Management and Senior Director of Global Technical Account Management before assuming their current role as Vice President of Global Technical Account Management.

Throughout their career, Simon has been focused on delivering technical account management services, driving growth, and providing consultancy services to elite customers.

Simon Elliott attended Solent University from 1998 to 2001 and obtained a BA Hons degree in Management.
