Chris Gaffey

Chris Gaffey has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Chris is currently working as a UX Lead at DesignMap since August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Designer at DesignMap from February 2021 to August 2022.

Chris also has experience working as a Visual Designer on freelance projects since August 2013. Chris has worked with various clients, ranging from local bands to a beer company and their alma mater, Union College (NY).

From January 2018 to February 2021, Chris worked as a Product Designer at Health IQ. Chris played a crucial role in designing new digital products, leading a company rebrand, and redesigning the website. Chris also achieved significant improvements in the company's email system and online ad marketing.

Before that, from August 2016 to October 2017, Chris worked as a Visual Designer at UpGuard. Chris contributed to web design, interaction/motion development, and brand/visual design. Chris was praised for their meticulous and dedicated approach to projects.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked as a Communications & Graphics Assistant at Capital Region Chamber from August 2013 to June 2016. Chris also gained experience as a Student Graphic Designer at Union College from August 2013 to July 2014 and as an Event Planning Intern at Chamber of Schenectady County from June 2013 to August 2013.

Chris Gaffey earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Psychology from Union College, where they attended from 2010 to 2014.
