Established in 2008 by Mark Simpson and Damien Mulvihill, our Melbourne based studio creates buildings and spaces for the hospitality, retail, residential, commercial and institutional sectors.

We are an award-winning practice creating human-centred spaces that are emotionally resonant and contribute to everyday life. We draw on integrated architecture and interior design capabilities to bring each project’s full potential to life. Across a diverse portfolio, our approach is tailored to individual briefs and client needs, always seeking to make everyday experiences intuitive, valuable and meaningful through design thinking.

Within this practice sits Platform, a specialist division dedicated to expressing brands in built form. Platform brings a complementary perspective, applying a strategic, brand-first lens that aligns environments closely with identity and commercial intent. Together, they form a connected practice—complementary in expertise, distinct in focus, and united in the pursuit of spaces that are authentic, effective and enduring.
